What We Do

What We Do

Tree Work

Pruning

Applying techniques to remove overgrown or dead branches, which will then promote strong growth and a healthy structure thus reducing instances of failure. This may include annual maintenance and repeat Pollarding of certain species

Crown Raising

This is where lower branches are removed to increase the area beneath the crown.

Crown Reduction

Pruning of the tree to reduce overall size of the crown. This also reduces weight within the crown therefore there is less chance of branch failure due to stress. Giving the tree a more stable and strong structure.

Crown Thinning

Thinning is the removal of selective live branches to lessen crown density. This also increases light through the canopy and reduces the chance of the tree being windblown.

Felling

This is where the whole tree can be removed in one go without the arborist leaving the ground. This is only suitable when there is sufficient space to do so safely.

Tree Dismantle

This is when the whole tree needs to be removed, but there isn’t enough space to fell it. The arborist employs climbing techniques to dismantle the tree is small sections. Minimising damage to the surroundings.

Removal of Deadwood

This is the removal of deadwood in a tree that if not removed could be very dangerous, and could fall at any point of time.

Disposal of all waste

We dispose our waste at local farm where it is used for things such as new paths and bedding for horses. It is also used to fuel a biomass boiler which provides heat by burning our waste product. A great way to turn a waste product, into useful energy.

Garden Maintenance

Hedge Trimming

Trimming new growth off a hedge to keep a tidy and uniformed look.

Hedge Reduction

This is where the hedge may have been neglected and needs significant work carried out to bring it back to a manageable condition. This may mean a reduction to either the height or width to the hedge.

Site Clearance

This is where a site may need lots of attention, removing shrubs, trees and hedges in order to regain space to make a better use of the surroundings or for a completely new start for the area.

Shrub Pruning

Applying techniques to remove overgrown or dead branches, which will then promote strong growth and a healthy structure.
